October, 2006, The Beginning

Life is a stream that carries itself forward despite the seemingly endless obstructions that occlude its progress. There is a determination that compels this force onward even when only a trickle can be discerned through the muck and debris. For many of us, we strongly identify with the trials and tribulations water faces; especially when our daily pebbles feel like boulders, and ripples more like tidal waves. We dig our heels in deeper on these days believing that the stronger we hold fast the more likely we are to overcome the torrents. All too often though, we learn the hard way that going against the current does not benefit anyone or anything. It just leaves us cold, weary, and weakened.

During these strenuous moments, it is easy to feel isolated, anxious, and angry. All too often, we become shortsighted and forget that we are not the only drop-let of water in the ever-continuing stream. If we would take but a moment to stop our struggling, we would begin to notice that we are surrounded by other drop-lets; all desiring to reach the same destination. (Some drop-lets swimming fervently through the sea of change, while others float mindlessly down the lazy river.) It is during this creative moment; however, that we allow a new awareness to permeate our being-ness, which opens ourselves to receive the buoyancy and support of our neighbors. Receiving in our time of need is so crucial to changing the consistency of our transient environment, that we needn't feel embarrassed, ashamed, or humiliated for asking.

As a matter of fact, to continue growing, changing, and evolving, we need to feel a sense of connected-ness, worthiness, and respect for each other. This attitude of reverence paves the way, not only for our own healing but the Earth's healing as well. Understanding that life is a current, which sometimes takes us to the highest of highs or down to the lowest of lows is integral to embracing the magic and mystery called, "The Great Unknown". As we meander along these rivers of change we begin to notice a natural rhythm and cycle to the ever-changing scenery. We begin to appreciate the soft, gentle rumble of a bubbling brook while accepting that a raging waterfall lies just beyond the bend. During these times of uncertainty it is much easier and nicer to remember that we are not alone. There is an Infinite pool of love and wisdom to draw strength from in addition to each other, and through this awesome Power of grace, we can decide when we are ready for smoother, easier sailing

Remember, the greatest gift we can give ourselves and each other is the wisdom that ALL is in Divine Order. Every obstacle leads to a lesson learned and every ending marks a new beginning. Ease into the awareness that life can be whatever you make it to be! As we honor the natural rhythms and cycles of our own journey we begin to notice and appreciate that everything is as it should be. We are all doing our best and that is what matters. Love yourself. Love each other, and just accept that life is a never-ending journey. Where it leads? Only you get to decide!

December Winter Solstice

This is known to most people as simply the longest night of the year, but the emphasis of this holiday is not on the prevalent darkness, but on the importance of the return of the light.  The winter solstice is essentially a celebration of illumination, nestled within the darkness and cold of winter.  This can seem like a paradox, but it is precisely this contrast that illustrates the sacredness of the sun's light.  By looking at the celestial cycles, the story of darkness and light can be understood.  And we find that this universal dance is not just astronomical, but archetypical and resonant with our human experience.

In nature, ancient people noted the cycles of the sun and seasons.  We see the sun as a constant celestial force, rising and setting each day in a predictable manner.  But when observed carefully, the nuance of the sun's yearly journey becomes apparent.  In autumn, the tilt of the earth's axis makes the sun appear to travel lower in the sky, slanting from the south with lesser rays of light and warmth.  At the winter solstice, the sun is at its southernmost point, and it appears to stop and turn around, moving back to the center of the sky.  This then culminates at the summer solstice, the longest period of daylight, when the sun reaches its apex and again turns southward for another cycle.  This is analogous to the lunar cycle of waxing and waning, with the summer solstice as the full sun and the winter solstice as the new sun, a grander solar cycle mirroring the monthly cycle of the moon.

Mythologically, the sun represented the life giving god, who ritualistically died each autumn as the light and warmth faded.  But in nature's cycles, death is not permanent, and great festivities were planned for the anticipated rebirth of light.  In the womb-like slumber of winter, the god was born of the ever present mother goddess, and light slowly but undeniably returned to the earth while those upon it celebrated and showed their gratitude.  This was a time of symbolic rejuvenation.  But not just the physical renewal of life associated with spring, but the inner, spiritual rebirth of the individual will, represented by the sun.  This is the illuminating spark that precedes the spring, the prerequisite birth of pure potential before it manifests in outward form.

So as the winter world quiets and turns inward, we, too, feel the pull towards inner realms of mind and spirit.  The world has become as a chrysalis, allowing for the introspection that distills thoughts and feelings down to their essence.  We can sift and separate these insights with cool clarity, putting to rest beliefs that are outdated and consciously choosing new potentials to give life to.  Just as water crystallizes into structures of ice, so our thoughts and ideas can be crystallized into form.  This is the supreme time of unseen growth and change, like a seed sending out roots but not yet breaking the surface of the soil.   This is the time to set the pattern that all outward growth will follow.  This is the time of intention setting.  Like the new moon, we are at the beginning of a cycle, tapped into the energetic potential of birth and creation.  So use this time to see your own divine illumination and to set your spark of individuality in the direction you wish to grow.  Now is a moment of unbridled potential.  Now is an opportunity to be reborn.

So as this celestial story plays out in the sky, we are shown how it's sometimes in the moments of greatest darkness that our greatest hope is born.  As conscious beings, we have the ability to choose our perspective.  We can look at how things are in winter- dark, barren and cold, or we can see the emerging pattern of what will be, that as the light increases, soon shall follow warmth, spring, and life.  So let us cast our net of wishes into this fountain of rebirth and see it carry our intentions out of darkness into light.

Distance Healing

What is Distant Healing? Distant Healing is an old approach to healing that is alive and well today. It involves facilitating energy to one in need that is in another location than that of the energy facilitator. It can be in the form of prayer, loving and compassionate thought or other way with love by which the recipient's energy field is changed for the highest good.

We all know that energy follows intention. The movie "The Secret" is a great way to come to the understanding of how the law of attraction works. Therefore, before any healing session, it is always for the best interest of all to set intention for the highest good and the highest healing. This sets in motion the spiritual laws of the universe to work for the creation of the desired effect.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) is a healing modality which can be used with great benefit to one's well being. IET works on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of our being.  Sessions can be done in the form of distant healing or otherwise. The power of an IET session comes by the connection with the angels of the energy field via a technique called the heartlink. After this connection is made, the facilitator then sends a human (or animal in the case of IET for pets) heartlink to the subject of the session. This opens up a channel of love and compassion with source which lies within all of us. This channel is without limitation to time or space. It works with the power of intention to facilitate the healing, the shifting, the changing, the clearing, the empowering and/or the manifesting within the desire of the client. Since the client is the primary intention setter (in some cases the facilitator helps to clarify intention) she/he is also the healer. This is an empowering concept for those who understand free will. The healing/empowering process may involve clearing cellular memory of issues that block energy flow, changing a mental belief pattern that inhibits our energetic potential, or, on the spiritual level, heal some issue from a past life. The universe has a way of providing us with people, places and situations that present opportunities for us to spiritually evolve.

All of the caring service providers at Your Heartwalk Center are IET practitioners. For those who are unable to come to Sedona, we honor the opportunity to facilitate a distant session to empower you on your path of healing and/or empowerment. Our goal is to help people clear the resistance to their energetic potential. Distant sessions can be done by phone or arranged in other ways such as an agreement in time through e-mail.

Call Your Heartwalk Center today to talk with your practitioner of choice to find out how you can set up your IET session! (928)204-5589

The Intelligence of Nature - Flower essences and crystal, gem and mineral elixirs.

Drops of liquid consciousness to assist you on your Journey of Expansion

Did you know that there are natural remedies to assist you in rebalancing your emotions, expand your awareness, open your heart to more love, joy and self-acceptance and increase your telepathic abilities?

As a whole, humanity is evolving in consciousness more quickly than ever before. Sometimes our mental, physical and emotional selves lag behind and we experience various symptoms of 'dis-orientation'. Flower, crystal, gem and mineral essences can help us to re-connect, to become whole once again according to our original blueprint.

After a consultation, an essence practitioner can craft a personal blend to assist a client with specific blocks or issues which the person wishes to bring to the surface to clear. With intention, the issue is brought to consciousness gently and cleared quickly and with ease. Though not a cure all or magic bullet by any means, an essence blend is still a powerful tool to vibrationally assist you as you move forward on your path of consciousness expansion.

Flower and mineral essences work on a vibrational level. Each flower or mineral, gem or crystal holds it own resonance or frequency, which corresponds to a similar frequency or resonance when applied to the human electrical system. The unique attribute of a specific essence is then transmitted to the user to assist in the release of old thought patterns that are no longer useful, restore balance to the emotions and generally improve one's quality of life.

Essences can be used in a myriad of ways, from a few drops directly under the tongue or put into drinking water to added to an aerosol spray. Children and animals benefit from essences even more than adults because they are more in resonance with Nature.

The Holographic Reality…We're "Fractally" There! by Joan

When I think about the holographic universe, I think about the numbers

one and ten, the one (1) and the many (10). That's really what the

holographic universe is. If we could pick apart all of the components of

this universe and look at them on their grandest level and their

minutest level, macroscopically and microscopically, we would see that the

big picture and the little picture really are the same. It is all just a

mirror of each other. The one and the many are the same thing. In

numerology, if I add each of the digits of the number 10 together, the sum

is 1. We are all one.

So what does that mean for us? Does that mean we are all the same? What

I think the holographic universe is telling us is we are mirrors for

each other. We are mirrors to show our greatest potential and our

weakest links. We are made of the same stuff as the universe. But, the one

(the uni-verse) manifests itself differently, in as many ways as it

chooses. The only way the universal consciousness or the cosmic mind can

know itself is through creation. If the one consciousness could not relate

with another, it would have no reference point. This is why most

humans choose to be in relationship, so they can know themselves better.

If you were creating in order to know who you truly are, wouldn't you

choose to create a myriad of things, as many things as possible to

know whom you are in this instance versus who you are in that one? So, the

holographic reality, the cosmic mind says, hmmm, what do I choose

today? How do I know myself in this moment? Have I ever experienced X? No.

What happens? The universe chooses X and as soon as it chooses X, X

exists. And now there is another soul, X, another individuated genius of

the energy matrix, of the universal consciousness, of the holographic

reality. X is no different than anything the universe has created. And

yet, X's expression of that same source, that drop of universal energy

of what is, gets to experience and express itself in very unique ways.

Can we realize, incorporate and integrate the holographic reality into

our reality? If this is so, this means if everything is so connected

then thought, which travels faster, I propose, than light, can break the

barriers of time and space and allow us to manifest instantaneously.

Some individuals have already been able to do this, Sai Baba for example.

Will it happen in a grand way such that everyone everywhere on planet

earth will, at some point, be able to think of a thing and it appears

as fast as the thought goes out? If the universe is truly a mirror for

each of us to show our core potential, then clearly we all have the

ability to do this. The true essence of our being is to create things

according to our wishes. Can a thought move mountains? Yes it can. This is

how we have been creating, only in slow motion. Soon each of us, in our

own time, gets to hit the fast forward button and speed things up in

our lives, so much so, that we now correlate our thought with the effect

of that thought. What really makes the difference, breaks through the

time-space barrier for us, I believe, is the repatterning of thoughts

and the replacement of preconceptions we have held for centuries, perhaps

since the times of Atlantis, Lemuria, and Egypt. These old thought

patterns and preconceptions from government, society, and religion are

what hold us back from actualizing our true potentials.

So how do we break out of the old thought patterns? One way is to bring

in high vibrational information in the form of words, symbols, sounds,

or movement. In addition, the mind needs to have a new reference point

from which to create its new holographic reality. This is, in effect,

what my book, In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul

does. It shatters the old belief systems and mental patterns and

replaces them with a new reference point from which to construct a new

holographic reality. The readers realize their essence and the power and

purpose behind their lives. They now realize the joy and the passion that

comes from living the life they chose to live before they embodied. As a

natural outcome, their reality is now a fully realized part of the

larger holographic reality, instead of a fractionalized part. They know

they are connected with everything that exists in the universe, whether it

is with a tiny grain of sand on the earth or with a giant swirling

nebula out in the cosmos.

Our holographic reality goes beyond all boundaries, borders, and

beliefs because there are none in the mind of co-creators. We are part of the

universal mind. We were always meant to be part of the one and the

many, the holographic reality.

resonating." - In the Key of Life, An Activational Journey to the Soul

Co-Creating with Angels by Phoenix

It was no accident we met at Facilitator Training for the Flower of Life Meditation. We took one look at each other and knew instantly that here was the person our angels had prepared us for. I, Phoenix, had moved to Sedona just prior to the training. Leon moved here shortly after we met.

We worked at different places, as healers and vortex tour guides, but began to feel frustrated we didn’t have more control over the type of work we were both doing. I was yearning for depth and for people who wanted to raise the consciousness of the planet, not just the tourists who wanted a psychic reading because they were in Sedona, and that’s what one does when visiting. Leon was developing his tour guide business and sacred ceremonials that were incredibly healing, but the pay and the working conditions were less than rewarding.

We began offering healing work together, through Integrated Energy Therapy®. (Leon and I are Master Instructors in IET, which allows us to teach it to others, as well as facilitate healings.) This therapy gets the ‘issues out of the tissues’ and helps people to raise their vibrations so they can heal themselves. We love this therapy so much, as it has greatly facilitated our personal growth.

Having worked together with several clients, we decided to work out of home and utilize a spare bedroom as our healing space. After frantically cleaning the house prior to the third client, and feeling frustrated at sharing our space with clients, we thought this maybe was not such a good idea.

That’s when the visions began. I meditate every day, doing either the Flower of Life Meditation, shamanic journeys, or some other deep spiritual connection. And I’ve worked with angels all my life, even when I didn’t realize I was working with them. So when angels began appearing to me regarding a ‘special project’, I wasn’t surprised. The first angel was Archangel Raphael who told me I needed to get a large statue representing him/her (angels are androgenous, but we tend to assign gender to make it easier to identify them). This statue would help us to co-create our life work. I didn’t fully understand this directive, but followed it anyway. I found a very large angel statue and placed it in a prominent place of power. (In IET, Archangel Raphael helps us clear our top of our head of guilt or separation from source and brings in innocence. He also helps clear the top of the head so our soul purpose can be present in divine alignment.)

Next, I began receiving visions of a healing center here in Sedona. Very specific information came in regarding the type of healing center. Not a psychic center, but a healing center, where healers come to heal themselves, and then stay to facilitate healing in others. A higher self-driven center, where all who are within the walls either as a facilitator, teacher, or client are acting in accordance with their higher selves. Filled with spiritual integrity, and drawing in like minded people who want to shift, heal, change, transform their lives and are willing to provide a fair energy exchange for this process. This is a center about teaching, healing, and serving others. The angels told me this was where we would provide free 5 minute empowerments, an abbreviated version of Integrated Energy Therapy® to give people a taste of healing. By doing this, we would be providing a service to others, helping them to realize how easy it is to heal themselves. Which also makes them come back for more and longer sessions. And that IET® would be a big part of our offerings.

The angels brought me more specifics about how this was to be a multi level operation with different sources of income. Revenue would come from independent contractors renting the treatment rooms, from teachers using the classroom, from aura photos (especially before and after aura photos demonstrating healing, the power of vortexes, classes, readings, etc.), the different services we were offering, a supportive retail bookstore helping people on their paths, and other opportunities yet to be developed.

I wrote all this down and shared it with Leon who was as excited as I was.

The next thing I knew I was being contacted by 6 different people who said they felt compelled to connect at that time because we would be working together in some way in the near future. I was blown away by that as I hadn’t shared anything about my vision with anyone. Clearly the angels were in charge of this project and bringing in the right people at the right time. These were the developers, if you will. They helped create the physical form out of the energetic potential. After the center opened, some then stayed to fulfill part of their life journey as teachers or healers, and some left to follow their paths wherever they were led.

Now there was no way we would be working out of our house. So we asked the angels to bring us the right place. One that wasn’t too expensive to lease, that had enough room for the initial vision and we could stay for at least a year, and in the right location. At first we thought it was to be in the Village of Oak Creek. That’s what the vision felt like. So we looked at various places, but none of them were quite right. After a very frustrating afternoon looking at wrong places, I finally said, “Look angels. If you want us to co-create this, then you need to bring us the place right now. Make it so obvious we can’t mistake it.”

That’s when 3 different people in 1 day spoke about the same place that just came up for lease in West Sedona! Who would have thought? We took 1 look at the place and felt that it was right. It was already set up for a small retail space plus 3 treatment rooms and a large closet-like area that could be used for the aura camera. All it lacked was the classroom. That’s when the owner said casually, “You know, on the other side of this closet is a large storage room. I’d be happy to clean it out if you would want to rent that also.” We looked at it and found it was the right size for a small classroom. Now we had everything we needed to get started.

We spent the first month painting the walls and preparing the space. We chose sponge painting with gold overtones to raise the vibration. We also hid sacred symbols in the paint and painted with loving thoughts to keep the vibration high.

As we needed furniture or equipment, the angels would bring us exactly what we needed. Like the aura camera on Ebay. We bought it from someone in Australia for half the price of a new one. Since they have life-time guarantees, we had nothing to lose!

We had our open house in October, 2006. It was a smashing success. Lots of people came by to support us and to experience what we had co-created. Now the challenge was to sustain the connection with the local community and high vibrational visitors.

Three months after we opened, the angels told me in meditation that we would be expanding to the space next door to us. We would use it as a large classroom space, they said. I laughed and said, ”Oh sure. Rhonda is next door. She’s not going anywhere!” Two hours later, one of the independent contractors walked in and said, ‘Hey, did you hear that Rhonda gave notice next door? She’s moving out!” I shook my head, and said, “I don’t think I’m ready for this.” The angels had other ideas, of course, and at our next workshop, we had so many people, we were overcrowded in our ‘small’ classroom. Okay, we got it! One month later, we took possession of the ‘large’ classroom space.

It was at that time, we realized what we were becoming. The spirit of the center shared with us that we were developing into a spiritual retreat center. Not only did we have workshop space available for incoming groups, but we also have the supportive services for out of town groups. We are able to offer vortex tours, sacred ceremonials, yoga, massage, energy work, readings, aura photos, and more! All customized for individual groups.

Also we quickly realized we were the only center in town offering Integrated Energy Therapy®, the next level beyond Reiki®. This was a profound realization as it helped us to recognize our potential. Not only do we provide sessions in IET®, but we train people to give sessions. We provide 3 levels of training for people plus IET® for Pets. Word was beginning to spread about the power of this therapy and its ability to get the ‘issues out of the tissues’ without having to relive trauma. It is one of the few therapies we’ve found that honors the client as being the healer. We are the facilitators between the client and the angels, and the angels tease us about keeping us busy so they can do all the work! This is also how we structure our angel readings and other services. We believe the client is the highest and best healer/reader/teacher, etc. so we give the client the tools they need to do this work themselves.

One of the challenges we’ve faced is ‘going with the flow’. Within the flow of the center, within the flow of Sedona, within the flow of the people drawn to our center. We’ve managed to stay connected to the spirit of the center, to honor the needs and the development of this place. Still, many times I feel like I’m being stretched to move in a direction I wasn’t quite ready for yet. Like renting the large classroom. But that’s okay and in divine order. I believe the angels know my first reaction will probably be resistance, and their divine plan takes that into account. They understand that my physical mind and body take a longer time to adjust to the expansion of energy than my soul does!

Going within the flow of Sedona has also been challenging. Sedona’s energy is such that people are confronted continually with what they need to heal. Stuff comes up. You can either deal with it or run from it, but there’s no in between. The intensity of what we experience can sometimes take us off guard. And usually whatever is happening on the planet is felt more strongly here in Sedona. So with a bunch of highly sensitive people in town, we usually feel things at the same time. That means all of us are having our meltdowns at similar times, and it also means we have our spiritual highs at similar times. Now that we are aware of this phenomena, we understand that there are going to be days when it feels like nothing is happening. Sometimes there are few clients or phone calls because we’re all working through our ‘stuff’. Sometimes we are so crowded with requests, or other people’s stuff, we are calling 7 different therapists and still needing more. It’s all about balance.

And then there’s the going within the flow of the people drawn to our center. Many people want to work here. Many want to be healers. And healers have an inner-guidance rhythm that is faster than less-spiritually-aware people. Their stuff is going to come up faster because they are facilitating healing and because they are considering making part of their life path a healing path. If everything is in divine order, then they are to be here for whatever they need for their highest good and healing. And when they are complete with that, they move on quickly, to other jobs or other opportunities of their design. Therefore healers who come here to work, tend to not stay long. We are on our third change-over in staff. Not because people were unhappy, but for whatever reason, their life-path took them to a different place. Now that we are aware of this, we are better able to adapt to the flow of healers. There are always people wanting to work with us, so there’s not a shortage, really. But I have told the angels we’d like to have healers who can commit their time and dedication to our center for at least 6 months. That would be helpful.

People ask us how do you keep the energy of your center so high and clear?

1&emdash;Intention. It is our intention to provide a center that is for everyone’s highest good and healing. That’s quite a statement. But when we work with the angels, they laugh and say, “Don’t worry. We’re just keeping you busy so we can do all the work!” and they do. Through Integrated Energy Therapy®, the angels channel energy through us and take away anything that needs to be transmuted. That means we never take on other people’s stuff. We couldn’t if we wanted to. And we don’t. That also means other people’s stuff is not left lying around on the floor or in the walls.

Also through I.E.T.®, we have utilized an advanced technique called a HeartBeam. This is a permanent beam of love and light that provides a mini-clearing to people’s resistance of their soul’s purpose. We have heartbeams in various places in our center. These beams of love and light are strengthened by any being entering them, and in turn, keep building in vibration and frequency.

2&emdash;Leon teaches dowsing. When we dowsed the frequency of our center, it was a fairly high vibration, but we wanted it even higher. The angels suggested gridding the healing rooms with specially selected crystals. When we did that, we raised the vibration 4 times! And we’re continually looking for ways to balance polarity and provide harmony in our space. We’ve found a few products we’re excited about and will have their distributors and/or creators providing lectures and demonstrations about them in the near future. (Check out our website for these events:www.sedonaheartwalk.com)

3&emdash;We keep ourselves clear, through meditation like the Flower of Life or other practices, shamanic journeys, continued self growth and connection with our higher selves. This has to really come first or the previous two practices of clearing wouldn’t ever work.

What’s next for Your HeartWalk Center?

So okay, I think I’m through dragging my feet on this one. We are in the process of co-creating a non-profit organization called Your HeartWalk Healers. The purposes of this are a) to educate the public about non-traditional forms of healing that work, b) to provide on-going research on the non-traditional forms of healing and their effectiveness, c) to provide educational opportunities through scholarship to people wanting to train in non-traditional forms of healing that work, d) to provide service opportunities to the public (for 2 and 4 leggeds) sharing information and healing so they can experience non-traditional healing firsthand, and e) to provide a public database of local non-traditional healers, through print and web-based material. And in the way of the angels, the first person assisting this is an animal healer, and she has already found her way to Your HeartWalk Center as a teacher and healer. (Thank you, Angels!) I’m sure the rest of the team is on their way right now.

Oh, and Archangel Raphael? He’s in our center, guarding the small classroom. He assures me there will be at least 2 other centers in the world before we feel complete…..

I don’t think I’m ready for this.

Cell Level Healing by Phoenix

Have you ever rubbed your forehead while trying to remember something? Or experienced tenderness or tightness in the back of your neck when a co-worker exploded on you?

These are examples of cellular memory areas, the map of our body that directs specific cellular healing. Cellular memory, unlike the memory of your brain, stores experiences not just facts and figures. Experiences tend to be stored as impressions and are viewed from all senses, not just the visual. For example, the brain, when retrieving a memory will most likely show you a picture or a list or a graphic. Cells, when retrieving a memory will give you a body sensation such as pain or tension or tingling or you may be ‘frozen with fear’. You may also sense a fragrance, taste, sounds or any combination of senses that held the imprint of the experience.

The best definition we found for cellular memory is Stevan Thayer’s, founder of Integrated Energy Therapy®. “Every cell in our body has the ability…to remember. Our Cellular Memory can store the memory of physical trauma like accidents, cuts, bruises, surgeries, or abuse; emotional trauma like heartache, fear, built and anger; and mental trauma that manifests in low self-esteem, unworthiness, worry, etc. When trauma is suppressed into the cellular memory, that energy can get stuck. The problem with suppressed cellular memory is not only does it limit our ability to live freely and joyfully in life but it can also support the body in developing physical illness.”

Not everyone agrees that cellular memory exists. Scientists doubt it because there isn’t a way to effectively measure it. Unlike brain waves and stimulation, cellular memory occurs in all cells, and there’s no proof that the memory is actually stored there.

Some researchers, though, are beginning to put forth ideas that support cellular memory. Think back to the basic conditioned response as developed and observed by Pavlov. Ringing a bell produced salivation when paired with food initially. Thereafter, salivation happened with only the bell for association. A body response, a sensory response, a muscle memory response to an event.

One of the more interesting people who scientifically studied the body in its relation to the energy flow within it and the subsequent imprinting of cellular memory was Wilhelm Reich. In his work on character-analysis, he focused on the conflicts of the ego. He saw the body divided by armor rings (cell memory energy blocks) that he described as being at right angles to one’s spine. He perceived that these rings blocked the flow of what he called Orgon Energy. (Life Force Energy) One develops this armor from the energy products, such as guilt, from the ego. When one is blocked from the free flow of energy, one can outwardly express this blockage through anger or rage.

Post traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD) also relates to cellular memory. Survivors of stress or trauma exhibit multiple signs of ongoing memory in their bodies. Physical symptoms such as shaking, inability to move or act, sweating, etc. Emotional symptoms such as sadness, fear or anger. Mental symptoms such as aggression, inability to decide, powerlessness, etc. Multiple senses operating from a traumatic event stored in the cellular memory.

Set points are another example of cellular memory. These points can control the comfort level of the body or mind with certain activities such as weight loss or gain, meditation length, endurance training, or giving/receiving abundance. These set points can be reconditioned or reset in the body and mind, allowing for greater loss or gain. In effect, you are retraining your neurons to fire at different times or places.
Vaccines can also be viewed as cellular memory. Regardless of how you feel about vaccines, look at the way they are supposed to work. You are given a shot that contains a small amount of an unhealthy organism. Your immune system sets up a counter-offensive to keep you from getting sick from it. Then your immune system ‘remembers’ that type of experience to keep you healthy. Therefore, vaccines evoke cell memory by their actions.

Then there’s the example of the organ donors and their recipients. Reports come most frequently from heart transplant recipients. In one case, the donor wrote poetry and lyrics and in one unpublished poem wrote about Danny who would receive his heart when he died. The recipient of his heart was Danielle who when the donor’s parents talked to her about the poetry, found she could finish the lines of most of it without having any previous conscious knowledge of it. Then there’s the police officer killed in an undercover drug deal. His heart was received by a man who kept reporting he saw flashes of light and felt a burning over his face. The police officer had been shot in the face.

So where is this going? If it’s true that cellular memory exists, then why not facilitate healing at that level? If it’s true that suppressing these memories can lead to disease and keep us from our joy, then why not heal at this level?

One good reason we aren’t healing at this level is because the memories are suppressed, we don’t even know we’re holding onto them.

A good example of this is something that happened to me when I was 12. Walking down a safe street, I saw a man approaching me. He was wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans, and work boots, and carrying a large stick. As he got closer, I felt intense fear without any known reason. I broke into a cold sweat and my feet became planted where I was, unable to move. I tasted the tang of fear in my throat and was unable to speak. I felt I was close to dying, and when he finally passed by me uneventfully I was able to break loose of my fear state and run home. When I got there, I told my Mom about the event.

Mom replied, “Oh honey, don’t you remember?”

And at that moment, it all flooded back to my brain memory. My aunt had been kidnapped when I was 2 years old. I was present at the time the man, wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and work boots, broke into the house. He carried a sawed off shot gun and threatened to kill everyone there. He demanded money and when he got it, grabbed my aunt and kidnapped her. She was later released physically unharmed. Because I was so young, I suppressed the mental memory but the cellular memory imprints of fear, tension, worry, and potential death stayed with me until I was able to release them successfully. My cellular memory retained the experiential impressions that I was able to understand at the time: the clothing, the big stick, the threatening behavior. After releasing that memory, I never again felt that level of fear when viewing plaid shirts or men with sticks! A simplified version of also saying that I never again felt unrelated fear to strange men approaching me on the street.

As ‘healers’ or facilitators of healing as we prefer to be called, we see evidence of cellular memory all the time. Especially as it’s being released. Although this is purely observational and anecdotal and has no way of being measured empirically or proved that it’s coming from anywhere other than the brain,, there’s no doubt to us or the clients that it is coming from the basic cells themselves.

Physical evidence of cellular memory release is demonstrated by body movement, twitching, pulsing, feelings of twinges or tingling, even in areas where we aren’t working. Even body miracles take place here as demonstrated by blood pressure decrease, blood sugar decrease, pain decrease or elimination or other physical healing.

Emotional evidence of cellular memory release is shown through crying, laughing, talking, but not necessarily re-experiencing. Through intention, it is possible to release cell memory without having to re-experience it. Therefore trauma does not have to be re-experienced in order to let it go. This is profoundly different from traditional therapies.

Mental evidence of cellular memory release is shown through verbal processing, where connections are made that weren’t visible before. People will change mental thought patterns that no longer serve them. And suddenly find themselves with patterns that are more helpful. Such as releasing beliefs around having too much money and the possible negative connotations with that. And through realizing that, adopting a more beneficial attitude that money can be used any way you like. There’s nothing evil about it. Although again, it’s possible to release without knowing what it is you are releasing.

Spiritual evidence of cellular memory release is demonstrated by elimination of judgment toward oneself and others, a release of guilt and even by past life recall and connections to current situations. There is a stronger connection to all that is, or source energy, and a belief that you may not know where you are going so long as you know you are on your way.

True cell level healing isn’t just about releasing the memories stored there. It’s also about replacing that memory with higher frequencies. When we release things, a vacuum is created, and unless we fill up that vacuum with a higher vibration, the same old pattern will be attracted back into the body. So as heartache is released for example, the cell level healing replaces that memory with the frequency of love. As guilt is released, cell level healing replaces that memory with the frequency of innocence. So far, we have found only one therapy that takes cell level healing to this level of replacing the memory with higher frequency, and that is Integrated Energy Therapy®. Other cell level therapies that are worth exploring include Theta Healing, Quantum Touch, and Myo-Fascial Release.

How do we know that true cell level healing is happening? Again, this is observational and anecdoctal. We see in our clients that they look lighter, freer, younger, more youthful and more empowered. They report this also. They say they feel and look like they’ve had a face lift without any of the side effects! They feel like they’ve lost ten pounds in one hour! Because we don’t realize how much energy it takes to hold onto suppressed memories. It’s only when we release the memories and feel how much more energy is now able to come through us that we make this connection.

We also see changes in one’s aura with cell level healing. Notice the aura pictures of before and after cell healing. In photo #1A (Before the healing), healing is already happening at a physical level, as evidenced by the green on the right and bottom left of the picture. The red blob at the bottom is evidence of anger and resentment held in the liver and the spleen. In photo #1B (After the healing), the green has moved more into the mental and spiritual layers of the aura (the upper area), signifying a release in mental belief systems that didn’t serve. (This was according to the client’s focus which was to release old reactions to situations.) The red blob has now been healed and replaced with an angelic blue, in alignment with the client’s focus also. (Please angels, take away my anger and resentment and fill me up with forgiveness.)

In Photo #2A, this person was showing a tremendous amount of vitality as evidenced by the scarlet and gold. This tends to be the aura of a healer. (The focus of this healing session was to be the best he could be and in divine alignment.) In photo #2B, notice the green healing entering into the physical layer on the right encompassing the spleen where resentment is held and even into the heart area, releasing heartache. More gold is now evident as well as several dots at the top of the page indicating supportive guides. (According to the client, he asked for help in walking his path.)

Why do we want to have cell level healing? It’s a permanent change that results in a healing of a higher dimension. People are capable of healing themselves faster. They are more empowered to envision, embrace and enact their souls’ mission with joy. And they are acting more in divine alignment and divine intention and divine integrity.

As we move through the shift, it’s our responsibility to clean and clear ourselves of energy imprints that get in our way. In order to bring about a better universe, it begins with us.

Permanently healing ourselves from our cell level.

Living in Community by Leon

"Living Community" at Your Heartwalk Center means the choice taken by individuals to work together to live their soul's purpose. A little over a year ago, the seeds of angelic visions began to grow within the heart of Phoenix to open a place to teach, to serve and to heal. The vision of teaching focused upon the empowerment of the individual to gain access to the heart for the direction to the fulfillment of understanding who we are and what we came here to do.   The vision of serving focused upon how we can support each other on that path of the heart's (soul's) mission. The vision of healing focused upon clearing the resistance to the path of that soul's mission.

This all sounded good. At first we had a group of about 6 or 7 people that met weekly to begin forming the nuts and bolts of the Center. During these early meetings we always began with Higher Self meditation so that personal issues would be minimized. If this was to work in the physical, then it would truly have to be Spirit lead. We had to "get out of the way". Over time we began to notice that people would come and go. The group was in dynamic change. Some even left the area to a heart calling elsewhere. Some stayed in the area and were called to "do their own thing". When looking back at this we understood that the attention and the intention of the empowerment of the individual was already seeing the fruits of accomplishment:the following of the heart.

There were many issues faced at the beginning stages of development. We believe that the main issue was the challenge of how we can all work together. Other obvious issues were money, location, set up, advertisement, services offered, retail operation, workshop schedules, outside service providers, room rental, Center hours and service charges.

The important issue of "location, location, location" was resolved in perfect timing when Phoenix learned from a friends of space opening up at Southwest Plaza in West Sedona. This was after we had chosen a place in the Village of Oak Creek, but were turned down by the landlord because he chose not to rent to "a metaphysical group". It turned out that he was also led by Spirit (although we suspect unknowingly) because it would have been a disaster for us to hold business during major road construction that seems to be ongoing in that part of Sedona.

We began the lease on Southwest Drive on 1 September 2006. It took us about 3 weeks to paint walls, acquire furnishings and purchase the retail items that support one's path to empowerment. The entrance to the space contains a cozy retail area from which a hallway leads to 3 session rooms that we choose to paint shades of blue, green and purple. A small dividing wall was built to create the aura photo room. Shortly after we moved in, the landlord offered space in the rear of the building that we envisioned for a small classroom space. We took him up on it and knocked down a wall and added a closet, paint and carpet. A local artist painted our spiraled heart logo on one of the classroom walls that truly helps us all to open up to the heart of Your Heartwalk Center.

In December, we learned that the business adjacent to the Center was moving out. This was a space that had a large room about 20 x 35 feet and a back room area about 20 x 15. In truth, Phoenix, the "angelic vision catcher" for Your Heartwalk Center got the message that we were to expand next door before the actual discovery of the space becoming available. So after knocking down another small wall, more paint and carpet we had our large classroom.

The primary healing modality that we practice at Your Heartwalk Center is Integrated Energy Therapy(r) (IET). Stevan Thayer introduced this way of clearing in the late 1980's. Practitioners Heartlink(r) with angels to encourage the client (the healer) to let go of energy blockages in 9 cellular memory areas within the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. Often times these energy blockages relate to connections with another person, persons, places, situations or things. The goals of IET are to clear resistance to the soul's mission and empower one to acknowledge their energetic potential by bringing this information down from the top of the head where one begins to envision their soul's purpose, to embrace all that they are (by clearing the chest and abdomen) then to facilitate the enactment (clearing the legs) by connecting this energy of one's soul star to the earth.

Leon and Phoenix teach this modality regularly. The next basic, intermediate and advanced classes are scheduled for the end of August. IET for pets is scheduled for September 1. There is no prior energy work experience needed to register for these classes.

We would like to express our gratitude to Drunvalo for the gift of the sharing of the teachings of the Flower of Life (FOL). These teachings have positively affected many lives in such ways that are beyond the scope of this article. We send our love and blessings to him, his family, his projects and all those that support him at the Spirit of Maat and beyond.

Leon and Phoenix met at FOL facilitator training in Mexico in January 2005. At the time, Phoenix, guided by spirit, chose to move to Sedona from Omaha, Nebraska the previous December. Leon was living in Maine and in July of 2005 moved to Sedona to share life with Phoenix.

While IET is a powerful way to cleanse the energy flow within and without one's being, it complements the teaching of the merkaba meditation. Phoenix and Leon use IET during their FOL workshops as a tool to facilitate the energy of love within and without one's being for the activation of the lightbody: the vehicle for consciousness. Their next FOL workshop is scheduled for the end of September in Sedona. The FOL workshop is intended to plant seeds of the recognition of the unity of all life, deepen the Higher Self connection, open the heart to the energy of love, understand and balance polarity consciousness and develop and improve individual integrity, impeccability and self responsibility.

The Heartwalk Center has opened its doors to area healers, artists and teachers. Instead of renting session rooms on a monthly basis, the Center allows outside healers to rent by the hour. This opens up a way for people to rent and do sessions without the pressure of making regular monthly rent payments. The large classroom also has displays of works from local artists on a consignment agreement. Teachers and channelers also rent this space either by the hour or by the day.

Pheonix, Leon and everyone at Your Heartwalk Center are grateful to the community for the support that we have received. It is always gratifying to see people keep coming back and seeing ways in which they become empowered by the work that we do with them at the Center. We open our hearts to all and blessings upon the path of your soul's mission.

Bridging the Gap between Traditional and Alternative Medicine by Cynthia

Press Release: Doctor to Begin Lecture Series

Cynthia Drusbosky, MD, psychiatrist and founder of Transformations Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry will begin a monthly lecture series titled, "Bridging the Gap Between Traditional and Alternative Medicine."

First of all, I’d like to define the term alternative in the context of health care. By alternative, I mean, anything other than the way we are currently functioning as a healthcare industry. As a psychiatrist, I can’t speak for other disciplines but it just seems strange that while healthcare expenditures (specifically those for psychiatric medicines) have outpaced expenditures in most other areas, we are still a sad, anxious population plagued by substance abuse. While we all want to be symptom-free, there seems to be a growing number of people who are seeking a greater meaning in their health care or mental health experiences. For example, many people have been treated with medication for a depression that began with a loss of a job or spouse. They subsequently have to face the daunting task of redefining their identity in the context of this loss, and are too often left alone in this endeavor in the fast paced business of medicine. When the narrative of our life story is interrupted by trauma, divorce or loss, it is only natural that we seek meaning and closure. That we as providers support this search itself is as important as any medication we can prescribe in helping our patients to write the next chapter of their lives. For many this search can take the form of spiritual or alternative medicine pursuits.

Alternative healing may bring to mind any number of definitions for citizens here in the Verde Valley. Sedona specifically is home to an eclectic variety of beliefs and lifestyles, as well as an uneasy truce between those with disparate beliefs. This lecture series is designed as a community service to explore who we are in terms of those healthcare beliefs. Its purpose is to be both educational and fun. It is not an attempt to convert anyone to anything, but rather to explore what wisdom may come from a neighbor’s perspective that can be integrated into a whole philosophy. After all, modern, traditional medicine is indeed a plethora of diverse techniques borrowed from various cultures.

From Daniel Hale Williams, the African-American who performed the first open heart surgery to the invention of penicillin, and the international collaboration of scientists resulting in the development of treatments for HIV, our healthcare industry has evolved due to the contributions of individuals and communities seeking to make the world a better place.

This lecture series will begin with an overview September 27th. It will take place monthly, focusing on a specific topic in the mental health field, and comparing how treatment would be approached in both a traditional and alternative manner. The lecture that I’m most excited about is an interactive discussion in which parents are invited to give their input on how we might provide our teens with greater, more attractive alternatives to substance use. We all have different ways of coping with life stressors.

Some of our coping skills, such as humor, are advantageous. Maladaptive skills such as denial, blaming others or substance use, if we are to eliminate them, have to first be replaced with something more functional. If we identify with the African saying that “It takes a village to raise a child”. What are we as a community prepared to offer our teens?

So, from a psychiatrist‚Äôs perspective, what‚Äôs the difference between traditional and alternative medicine? What can traditionalists learn from practicioners of reiki, integrated energy or vibrational therapy or hands on healing? Furthermore, why are people attracted to alternative healthcare anyway? To assess symptoms and develop treatment in the context of an individual‚Äôs core beliefs is an art that allows patients to feel that they are taking a greater role in their healthcare. It is an empowering experience that can lend itself to greater overall satisfaction with treatment, regardless of outcome. After all, how many of us have ongoing lawsuits against our Reiki and Yoga teachers?
